PermaShade™

Light Cure Veneer Cement and Try-In Paste

PermaShade LC veneer cement is a light-cured luting resin used exclusively for cementing translucent prosthetics where light can transmit and shade matching is important. Its ergonomic contra-angle syringe makes cementation of delicate prosthetics more convenient than other methods. With enduring color stability and low shrinkage, PermaShade LC veneer cement is ideal for creating a long-lasting, esthetic smile.

PermaShade Try-In paste conveniently matches all four shades of PermaShade LC veneer cement to help with the selection of the right shade for final cementation. It has a gel-like consistency for controlled delivery to the veneer and is water-soluble for easy removal and clean-up.

  • Medium viscosity keeps veneer from drifting prior to cure
  • Use for porcelain, zirconia, composite, and other indirect veneers
  • Upon curing, low shrinkage stress prevents strain on the veneer1
  • PermaShade LC veneer cement and PermaShade Try-In paste are available in four VITA™* shade options: Translucent, Opaque White, A2, and B1
  • PermaShade LC veneer cement is recognized by Clinicians Report as one of the best products in its category.2

Step 1

Apply phosphoric acid (Ultra-Etch™ etchant with the Blue Micro Tip) to all surfaces of tooth preparation for 15 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and leave damp.

Step 2

Apply Consepsis solution with Black Mini Brush Tip to preparation. Suction excess off and leave surface slightly damp.

Step 3

Apply a puddle coat of Peak™ Universal Bond adhesive with Inspiral Brush Tip – scrub into dentin or paint onto enamel. Thin/dry 10 seconds using full air pressure. Preparation should appear shiny.

Step 4

Light cure with VALO™ curing light on Standard Power mode for 10 seconds.

Step 5

Express a thin layer of the PermaShade LC resin onto the inside bonding surface of the veneer only, not on the prepared tooth.

Step 6

Carefully position and seat the veneer using gentle pressure. Tack with curing light (VALO curing light with PointCure™ lens) for 3 seconds to avoid shifting.

Step 7

Clean the excess cement from margins. Optional: Apply DeOx™ oxygen barrier solution around margins to prevent oxygen inhibition layer.

Step 8

Remove PointCure lens and light cure with VALO curing light on Standard Power mode for 10 seconds.
