  • “The Epitome of Composite Art” presented by Ultradent Products, Inc.

    Dr. Frank Milnar and Dr. Brian LeSage will present “The Epitome of Composite Art: Advanced Concepts in Shade Selection and Layering” on behalf of Ultradent Products, Inc. at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg on May 15, 2009. This intensive, hands-on course will present advanced techniques for creating morphologically correct composite restorations using ceramist principles. 


    Clinicians experienced with complex bonding procedures will be able to reap the benefits of a course designed for the composite artist. The course offers instruction on the creative use of the artist’s “palette” to create three dimensional restorations with depth of color and realism. Attendees will leave as masters of a logical method for shade selection, including tints, opaquers, and layering techniques. Upon completion of the course, attendees will receive 8 Continuing Education Credit Hours. 

    Dr. Frank Milnar graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. Dr. Milnar maintains a full-time practice in St. Paul with an emphasis on appearance-related dentistry. Dr. Brian LeSage graduated from the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery. Dr. LeSage maintains a private practice in Beverly Hills, California with an emphasis on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry. Both Dr. Milnar and Dr. LeSage are accredited members and board examiners for the AACD.

  • Victoria L. Wallace, CDA, RDA Lectures at the Upcoming Connecticut State Dental Convention

    Victoria L. Wallace of Ultradent Products, Inc., Certified Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant since 1976, will be a featured presenter at the upcoming Connecticut State Dental Convention on May 7 and 8, 2009. Victoria’s lecture, “Totally Bonding: Do’s and Don’ts to Help Create the Ultimate Bond” will help the entire dental team improve their performance with bonding and troubleshooting existing issues. The program will include a composite hands-on exercise to help with understanding of different classifications of resin systems. 


    Ms. Wallace has received tremendous praise as a consistent program lecturer for Ultradent’s Continuing Education series. She is widely recognized within the industry for her professionalism and personal growth. In 2006, she was the recipient of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) Sullivan-Schein 12th District Award of Excellence. Ms. Wallace also received the 2007 D. Kay Mosley Distinguish Service Award for her contributions to both the ADAA and the ADAAF. She is the Immediate Past President of the Nevada Dental Assistants Association and Southern Nevada Dental Assistant’s Society and has been an active member of the ADAA for 11 years. She has also participated on the ADAA Foundation Board of Directors for the past 6 years, currently serving as the Vice Chair. 

    Ms. Wallace started working for Ultradent Products, Inc. in 1996. Her current position is Major Accounts Manager for the West Coast and Nebraska Dental Schools and lecturer on Dental Products and Procedures. Ms. Wallace will be a guest speaker at the Florida Dental Convention on June 18-20, 2009, the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference on July 23-24, 2009 and the ADA/ADAA convention on October 2, 2009 among several other state dental association meetings in the next few months.

  • Dr. Fischer’s “No Cost” CE for Surviving the Downturned Economy

    Dr. Dan Fischer, President and CEO of Ultradent Products, Inc., is the guest speaker for a free, two-hour CE webinar which addresses dental teams interested in new solutions for surviving the downturned economy. 


    The course, “Economical Opportunities in a Downturned Economy”, will focus on affordable treatments using current technology with quality patient care in mind. The solutions will focus on minimally invasive, repairable esthetics and early childhood preventative techniques.     Dr. Fischer is a graduate of Loma Linda University.
